Crypto ETF Shares to Coins Calculator (and Coins to Shares)

Pick your fund, type how many shares you own, and see how much bitcoin, ether, SOL or XRP you control, and what it is worth now. Or flip it: type a coin amount and see how many shares you need.

How the math works

Coins you control = shares × coins per share. Shares needed = coins wanted ÷ coins per share. Dollar value = coins × live coin price.

Example with IBIT data from Oct 23, 2026: 250 shares × 0.00056514 BTC = 0.141285 BTC (14,128,535 sats).

Planning to add on a drop? The IBIT buy the dip calculator sets ten buy levels from bitcoin’s real drawdowns (also for SPY and QQQ).

FAQ

How do I convert ETF shares to bitcoin?

Multiply your number of shares by the fund’s bitcoin per share. Example: 250 shares of IBIT × 0.00056514 = 0.141285 BTC.

How many ETF shares do I need for 1 bitcoin?

Divide 1 by the bitcoin per share. For IBIT that is 1 ÷ 0.00056514 ≈ 1,769 shares.

Why is the dollar value different from my brokerage balance?

This calculator values the coins inside your shares at the live coin price, which is close to NAV. Your broker shows the last market price of the shares, which can be slightly different, and updates only during market hours.
